Notice of
Race
The race shall be held at the Port of Redwood City. The start and finish of
the race shall be at the inner turning basin of the Port, near the launch ramp
and the Sequoia Yacht Club. The race is limited to El Toro class boats. The
race course is in a clockwise direction: west on Redwood Creek, west on Smith
Slough, north on Steinberger Slough, east south north east south north east
south east north east north east on Corkscrew slough, and south on Redwood
Creek to finish.
The Skippers' meeting
shall be at 1200 (noon) at the Port of Redwood City’s public launch ramp on
Chesapeake Drive (off Seaport Blvd.). An entry form with signed release must
given to the Race Committee in order to participate. The race should start
around 1300. The results shall be announced one hour following the last boat
to finish at the Sequoia Yacht Club, 441 Seaport Court, Redwood City, CA.
Complimentary hors d’oeuvres provided. 50’s party (dinner/sock hop) Saturday
evening.
