                      ANNOUNCING THE FIRST ANNUAL

                         Fremont   Relays

To be held on Sunday, May 16, 2004 in El Toros at Lake Elizabeth in Fremont, at Paseo Padre and Stevenson Blvds. 10 AM registration, 11AM skippers' meeting and 12 noon start.

Racers will consist of two person teams to sail one El Toro boat. Each skipper will alternate, sailing two legs of a pre-determined course. Boats will be tied to the dock and there will be a "Le Mans" start.

Entrants will not be limited by age or gender and any combination of sailors will be permitted. The entry fee is $15 plus launch fee, and includes salad, hamburgers and soft drinks. There will be trophies for the first three teams, and T-shirts for the first twelve teams.
