NOTICE OF RACE

Sunday, 21 September 2003

The Fremont Sailing Club is pleased to invite the El Toro Seniors, El Toro Juniors, DeWitts, Bytes, Sunfish, FJís, and other interested classes to participate in a regatta at Lake Elizabeth on Sunday, September 21, 2003.

RACING AREA

The races will be held at Lake Elizabeth in Fremont Central Park located at the corner of Stevenson Blvd. and Paseo Padre Pkwy. Access to parking and the launch area is via Sailway Lane off of Paseo Padre Pkwy., south of Stevenson Blvd.

RULES

The races shall be governed by the Standing Sailing Instructions of the Fremont Sailing Club. Copies will be available at the skippers meeting, by mail from Roy Jordan (see contact info. below), or downloaded from the Fremont Sailing Club web page http://www.fremontsailingclub.org.

SKIPPERS MEETING

The skippers meeting will be at 11:30 AM at the grassy area next to the launch ramp.

SCHEDULE OF RACES

Three races are scheduled. The first warning signal will be at 12:00 Noon. Fleets with 3 or more boats will have their own starts.

FEES

An entry fee of $5 is payable at the skippers meeting for non-FSC members.

A launch fee, $5 at this time, charged by the City of Fremont , is payable at the Ranger station located in the boat house next to the launch ramp.

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

Competitors should provide their own lunch. A limited lunch may be purchased at the park snack bar. The Fremont Sailing Club will host a barbecue after the racing for all competitors and their families (included in the entry fee).
